cynic left Party Astronauts
cynic announced his departure from Party Astronauts. The 22-year-old American esportsman made an official statement explaining the reasons for this decision.
Due to a number of problems that have arisen over the past few months, I gradually lost faith in the future of the team. Since joining, I've felt left out due to a constant barrage of personal and gaming issues, and despite qualifying for the ESL Pro League + major qualifiers being announced, my motivation seems to be at an all-time low. Since my first Frag 15 tournament with the team, the problems have become clear. I've done my best to offer solutions to problems and resolve conflicts, but I feel like I've lost the battle.
The player emphasized that he sees how the team treats training and does not give himself up for the sake of the result.
Also, I have been the hardest working player by a wide margin since the day I joined the team, and seeing what my teammates are still doing at least weeks before incredibly important tournaments is like a huge slap in the face. It was a very difficult decision to leave before the EPL because that was my main goal for almost 3 years, but I got to the point where I don't see a future for the team other than participating in this one event.
Because of this, I decided to leave to join a new team where I feel my efforts and desire to win will be rewarded. The official announcement of the team line-up will be made in the next few days.
Recall that cynic joined the Party Astronauts in August last year. In six months, the 22-year-old sniper helped the team win ESEA Season 38: Premier Division - North America and iBUYPOWER Mythic Masters Winter 2021.
The departure of cynic is a heavy blow for Party Astronauts, which is preparing for the start of ESL Pro League Season 15. Interestingly, this is not the first loss of the team, which lost its main star in the face of Infinite at the beginning of the season.
From now on, the composition of the Party Astronauts is as follows:
- PwnAlone.
- ben1337.
- djay.
- Jonji (stand-in).
- Muenster (coach)
