OverDrive: flamie will drive for NAVI Junior
According to an OverDrive insider, flamie will be playing for NAVI Junior in the near future. Alexey Biryukov wrote about this on his Twitter account.
The future of flamie has remained the subject of special discussions over the past months, exactly since the player left the main NAVI roster. The 24-year-old was inactive for a long time until he appeared in the recent Insane FASTCUP 1 along with a mix of streamers and former pro players.
Later, Dosia said on his broadcast that flamie had already ceased to be a part of NAVI, having terminated the agreement with the organization. In addition, the former Gambit player stressed that the compatriot had already found a new team, but did not disclose the name of the team.
Now fresh rumors are wooing flamie in NAVI Junior. At the same time, it is not reported who exactly will be replaced by the 24-year-old player.
flamie has played for NAVI since 2015. Together with the team, he won StarSeries & i-League CS: GO Season 7, IEM Katowice 2020 and BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, and also took second place at FACEIT Major: London 2018.
However, at the beginning of 2021, the player left the team's starting lineup, opening the way for B1t. At the same time, the organization did not adhere to the scheme with an extended squad, finally putting flamie on the bench.
In 2020, Valery B1t Vakhovsky began to replace him in the starting lineup on some maps. The team planned to use a six-person roster, but in the spring Vasiliev was transferred to the reserve due to Valve's updated rules.
