Today Russian players RANCHES and cleaveee announced on social media that Team Empire will skip the Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship. The reason for the withdrawal from participation in the tournament is the refusal to issue US visas.

The team got the opportunity to participate in the ALGS: 2022 Championship thanks to a successful performance at the Apex Legends Global Series 2021-22 EMEA.

This problem is related to the fact that the United States stopped issuing visas to citizens of the Russian Federation due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine on February 24, 2022. At the moment, it is not known who will replace Empire in the Major.
