The history of Leviatán Esports begins in 2020. The Leviatán tag first appeared on the eSports radar in November 2020. Founded by Fernando “F10” Diez, owner and founder of aftechcorp.

Leviatán made their debut in the League of Legends discipline. Later, the team acquired a VALORANT roster and became one of the wired organizations in Latin America.

Leviathan in League of Legends

Leviatán was first heard from the League of Legends team. The first roster of the Argentine club was presented in November 2020.

On November 9, the LoL team included 5 players, the head coach, the team manager and the reserve player:

• Vokno (replacement)
• Feloss (head coach)
• Sawyer (manager)

At first, the team's performance was far from optimal. The club took the TOP-8 at Super Copa Flow 2022 and 2021. Later, the team joined the local LMF (Liga Master Flow) league, the largest Argentine LoL tournament system.

However, the team did not make it to the LLA, the key Argentinean league that is part of the competitive League of Legends ecosystem supported by Riot Games. However, within the LMF Leviatán show decent results.

From the first draws within the LMF, the team showed a serious attitude to business and took the lead in the local League of Legends. Leviatán became LMF Champions for the first time in July 2022, after finishing second at the LMF 2022 Opening Playoffs in April of that year.

After the triumph at LFM 2022 Closing, the team won the playoffs of the summer season and later two more tournaments - Super Copa Flow 2022 and Duelo Andino.

Leviatán unveiled their 2023 League of Legends roster in November 2022. It includes:

In the 2023 season, the team will continue to play at the LMF as the main contender for trophies.

Leviatan by VALORANT

Since its inception, the club has positioned itself as a multi-gaming organization. In 2021, Leviatán expanded into VALORANT.

In November 2021, the organization signed a roster consisting of Chilean esportsmen. The experienced Brazilian phonics was supposed to lead the process of building the team.

Leviatán's debut VALORANT roster included:

The first year of the game did not bring anything good to Leviatán: the team took the last places in local events and failed to perform at VCT: LAS.

In the VCT ecosystem, the team managed to reach the TOP-6 qualifiers for VCT 2021: LAS Stage 2 Challengers 2 – Qualifier. A qualitative breakthrough happened in the 2022 season, when Leviatán moved from the seats in the gallery to the front rows.

The year started with a win at VCT 2022: LAS Stage 1 Challengers. It is noteworthy that after a strained debut year, the team did not fall apart and continued to methodically work on the mistakes, which led the previously assembled roster to a major victory and a place in the LATAM Challengers Playoffs and Challengers 2.

Later followed by 2nd place at VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs and VCT: LAS Stage 2 Challenger. The disappointing second place was replaced by a triumph at VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs.

Having replaced VaiZ with Shyy in the roster, the team made a qualitative breakthrough. After falling into the lower bracket of VCT 2022: LATAM Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, Leviathan managed to comeback, passing through the losers bracket to the grand final, in which they defeated KRU Esports with a score of 3-0.

The victory at the VCT: Latam Stage 2 playoffs gave the team a ticket to the Masters in Copenhagen, the first major tournament in the history of the organization.

At the event itself, Leviatán performed admirably, entering the TOP-6 and earning 300 Masters points, which made them the first team in the region and guaranteed a pass to Champion 2022, the main tournament of the season.

The World Championship was not easy for the club, but they managed to reach the TOP-8. At Champions, their path was cut short by Masters FPX champions.

Since the club's inception in 2020, Leviatán Esports has managed to become one of the leading Argentine esports organizations. The club's lineups have been in the top places in 22 tournaments, and the prize money earned is estimated at over $208,000.
