Freecs became the winner of PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 1
The PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 23 to April 10, 48 teams from East Asia fought for a prize pool of $158,830, as well as eight tickets to PUBG Continental Series 6: Asia. The winner of the tournament was the Freecs team, which, according to the results of the final stage of the competition, scored 221 points, outperforming its nearest competitor by more than 60 points.
The tournament for the future winner began with an impressive performance at the Weekly Finals, where the South Korean team showed four impressive weeks, gaining a total of 324 points. Of course, Freecs topped the standings and made it to the grand finals.
Here the team played 20 flawless matches, five of which the Freecs finished with a victory. At the same time, the South Korean team was consistently among the best, which helped them score 221 points in total and become the winner of PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 1.
