Team Mutariuum disqualified from PUBG PCS6
It was learned that during Day 3 of the PCS6 Americas LATAM Regional Playoffs, a player from Team Mutariuum broadcast his game session to an unauthorized channel without delay. Viewers provided real-time information and feedback to the team, thus providing an unfair competitive advantage. The submitted report has been investigated and verified by KRAFTON Americas League Operations.
In accordance with the violation of the rules below, the Mutariuum team was disqualified from the PCS6 competition. Their slot in the Grand Finals will be given to the next runner-up team Just2Easy and an additional team - From The Ashes will be promoted to the LCQ.
Section 13.A. Server Usage: During the PCS6 Americas Regional Playoffs and Last Chance Qualifier, all teams/players must be on the PUBG Americas Player server in the team's provided text and voice Discord channel. The entire active squad must be present on the voice channel provided to them 5 minutes before the start of the game, the team coach can sit on the voice channel of his team and control communication, the coaches server will be turned off before the start of the match, broadcasting to the team coach in any way is prohibited.
Section 13.H. Streaming: PUBG reserves the exclusive rights to broadcast and stream this event. Players are not allowed to personally stream their matches and games without prior permission from PUBG. When permission to broadcast is granted, the streamer must use the 25-minute delay.
Rule 4.7 Cheating: Competitors must not use any device, software, or any other method or activity to gain an unfair advantage.
In addition to the disqualification, all parties involved will receive a competitive ban from PUBG Esports. The exact details of these bans are being specified and will be known shortly.
