XIII Remake claims to be one of the worst games on Steam

Back in 2003, XIII positioned itself as an interesting and unusual comic-style shooter. According to fans of the original, the remake absolutely does not deserve to be played. Better to go back to the original and its old, but still stylized graphics, than go into a visually updated shooter, but lost its former charm.

As a result, the game received only 9% positive reviews on Steam. Considering that the number of reviews was 316 reviews, this figure is extremely deplorable and disappointing. The only plus that players see is sometimes a good game with light. In all other respects, XIII has failed miserably and breaks another bottom in the popular playground.

List of XIII Remake major issues:

• The sound component is poor. Sounds and music can regularly disappear temporarily or permanently. In some cases, music is replaced by some kind of noise
• There is no physics of bodies. Enemy bodies fall to the ground with scripted animation
• Multiplayer is only available as a LAN game. In addition, it lacks bots, and many maps and modes from the original XIII are gone.
• Earlier in XIII, there were many comic effects in the style of "Tra-ta-ta", "Bang!" and others. In the remake, there are several times less of them, fans are not happy about this
• Mouse sensitivity plays a cruel joke on players. Because of this, the controls in the game are not as responsive as they could be.
• Gamepad support just like everything else in this game - doesn't work stably
• The artificial intelligence of the enemies in the game is extremely poor. Enemies pose no danger even at the highest difficulty levels
• The cutscenes received a lot of downgrade changes, due to which the atmosphere of the game deteriorated significantly
• In the remake, some little things have disappeared, which simplified the process of passing. For example, in the original Brighton Beach level game, you could shoot down this vehicle before the helicopter landed. There is no such possibility in the remake.
• Players are not immune to many bugs. Users meet some of them almost immediately after entering the game.

The Steam 250 has compiled a rating of the worst games in the history of the playground. The results are calculated there according to its own special algorithm, which takes into account not only the final grade, but also the number of reviews left. The rating is updated once a day, and therefore soon it will be possible to see XIII Remake in the list of games that have broken through the bottom.

Considering that Flatout 3: Chaos & Destruction takes the first place in the top of the worst games in the history of Steam with an indicator of 13% positive reviews, then XIII has every chance not only to get on this list, but also "to become the new king of garbage."...
