Overwatch got crossplay

Blizzard Entertainment announced on Twitter about the addition of crossplay support for the Overwatch esports discipline. Now if players from different platforms want to get together to arrange a difficult battle for their rivals, then there will no longer be any obstacles between them. This applies to the following platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and even Nintendo Switch.

To use the crossplay feature, users will need to link their Battle.net account to their Overwatch profile. Detailed instructions are available on the official website. Players on computers will find it much easier - they have the crossplay function enabled automatically. If they want to play as honestly as possible and fight only with players logged into Overwatch from a computer, then this feature can be turned off at any time in the settings.

In Ranked Matches, users will face restrictions in the form of separate pools for players on PC and Consoles. In all other fights, there are no restrictions, and console fans will have a particularly hard time playing against PC boyars, since aiming assistance will be disabled for them. If they counted on the help of the AI in aiming at the enemy, now users will have to pump their aiming skills or play against the console players.
