Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart turned out to be great - albeit not without "jambs"
A truly "next-gen" Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is preparing to storm the PlayStation 5 on June 11th. On this occasion, today the embargo on the first reviews has been lifted, and the assessments have followed.
On the Metacritic and OpenCritic portals, the game has 89 points out of 100, and almost all reviewers recommend it for acquaintance. They praise mainly the visual component and decoration, but there are still questions about the gameplay.
Many journalists point out that the game has not gone far from its PS2 ancestor. However, most of them liked this move from Insomniac.
The technical specialists from Digital Foundry were especially impressed: the game has a lot to roam, and you can use the photo mode almost everywhere. In some places, the game looks better than modern cartoons.
