HP will acquire the HyperX storage, headset, and computer accessories business from the Kingston Technology Company. The deal is valued at $ 425 million, HP said in a press release.

Kingston will retain the right to manufacture DRAM, as well as various kinds of drives. It is noted that the deal will be closed in the second quarter of 2021. HP expects the purchase to be profitable one year after the agreement is signed.
