Indian gamers versus PS5 resellers - gamers complain massively about the announcement of Sony overpriced consoles
Indian gamers have entered the warpath with dealers of the PlayStation 5. The country is massively complaining about the announcement of the sale of PS5, which differ from the recommended retail price.
IGN India has reported that players have formed a large group and are sending complaints in droves. For monitoring, a separate Discord server has been created, where participants monitor the ad from the local OLX and other sites.
The PS5 has a MSRP of Rs 49,990 in India, though sellers of the hard-to-find console disagree. Although they put up an ad with a price tag of 50 thousand rupees, in fact, the price is about 80 thousand.
In addition, retailers themselves inflate the price tags. IGN India managed to talk with Sony's representative office in the country, where they were assured of cooperation with store chains that overcharge the price has already been interrupted.
