CD Project RED lost 25% of share value
The editors of the gamesindustry.biz portal came to the conclusion that CD Project RED lost 25% of the share value compared to what it was in August.
The total market capitalization of Cyberpunk 2077 developers has decreased by € 2,500,000,000. The share price of the Polish company has now dropped to the level at which it was in April. The CDPR is now valued at € 7,200,000,000. So far, the Poles are lagging behind in the race with Ubisoft. Recall that in May they took the lead, but against the background of the transfer of Cyberpunk 2077 they lost their positions again. Analysts estimate the value of the French video game developer at € 10,200,000,000.
GamesIndustry, referring to their sources, say that the management of the Polish studio arranged a meeting with investors and during this meeting explained why they needed the third transfer of the cyberpunk game. In addition, the parties to the negotiations discussed the possibility of transferring the game and the working conditions of the company's employees. They are probably worried that for the timely and successful release of the game on December 10, the developers have switched to a 100-hour work week.
