GTA 6 Ads Set to Appear Around the World After Rockstar Wraps Up Marketing Hires

Rockstar is officially entering marketing mode for GTA 6, and the signs couldn’t be clearer. After months of job listings, Rockstar’s hunt for localisation testers has ended. Those positions, which appeared in early July, have now quietly vanished from the careers page. That means the hiring is done, and the marketing rollout is about to begin.

The now-removed job listings included fixed 12-month contracts for countries like Brazil, Japan, South Korea, China, and several in Europe. These weren’t game testers. They were for marketing localisation — QA testers who help fine-tune ads, trailers, and social posts for each local market. That level of attention only happens when you’re planning to go global in a big way.

“RockstarGames has completed its recruitment for GTA 6 marketing!!!”

That’s the announcement posted by user TREVORTRAILER on X, who spotted that the listings had disappeared. And it lines up perfectly with the expected timeline: a third trailer in December and deep-dive gameplay videos in early 2026. It’s what Rockstar did with GTA 5, and all signs say they’re following the same playbook — just bigger.

This time, they’re pushing harder and wider. GTA 5 had marketing splashed across buildings in New York, subways in London, and screens in Hong Kong. But GTA 6? It’s showing up in new territories, including some that previously banned Grand Theft Auto entirely.

Saudi Arabia, for example, has finally approved GTA 5 — with a 21+ age rating — and it will officially go on sale there starting July 17th. Even more interesting: GTA 6 has already appeared on the Saudi Arabia PSN store. It doesn’t show much beyond Trailer 2 and a generic release message, but its presence alone is a milestone.

That opens the door to wider exposure in the Middle East. BlueGamingSA, an Arabic gaming network, reported that GTA 6 is now listed on PSN in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Lebanon. That’s not just a marketing milestone — it’s a whole new layer of reach for Rockstar.

Official approval means the studio can sell the game directly, without workarounds. Yes, some fans will still import or switch regions to avoid possible censorship, but the ability to promote and distribute GTA 6 legally in the region is a big deal.

It’s also a sign of confidence. The job listings were limited to a 12-month term, which ends right after GTA 6’s planned launch on May 26, 2026. If Rockstar expected delays or uncertainty, they wouldn’t lock in a fixed timeline like that. And Take-Two’s CEO has already stated that the May date is final, describing the six-month delay from fall 2025 as strictly polish-related.

All of this matches Rockstar’s traditional rollout. With GTA 5, fans saw teaser trailers, followed by cinematic trailers, gameplay breakdowns, and then a worldwide promo blitz — billboards, murals, digital takeovers, and even taxis wrapped in GTA branding.

This time, Lucia and Jason will likely become the face of that global campaign. The pair has already dominated YouTube with both trailers breaking records. Rockstar is known for its style of controlled releases, and we’re now entering the part of the cycle where the streets start talking — literally.

Beyond trailers, the streets of Tokyo, São Paulo, and Berlin could soon feature GTA 6 art. Subway takeovers, LED panels, and building-sized murals are all on the table. And with the localisation hires complete, Rockstar can now deliver region-specific versions of these materials, tailored for each market.

There are also other moves in the pipeline. A re-release of GTA 4 for current-gen consoles might drop ahead of GTA 6. That’s based on listings briefly spotted on Rockstar’s support page showing PS4 and Xbox Series X/S compatibility. They’ve since been removed, but fans are watching closely. If the port is real, it would serve as a smart way to keep players in the Rockstar ecosystem during the long wait for May 2026.

GTA 4 Re-Release rumors have been circulating for months. Rockstar insider Tez2 claimed the game has been in development for over a year. And if it does come, it could be packaged with a Max Payne 3 port or part of a definitive bundle, given that Remedy is already working on Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes. Nothing is official, but the signs are adding up.

Elsewhere, the music side of GTA 6 is also getting attention. A Grammy-winning producer recently teased work with Rockstar on custom radio stations. And in a completely different corner of the entertainment world, rapper Travis Scott may have dropped a GTA 6 Easter Egg in a new music video, hinting at a cameo or collaboration.

All of these points point to a carefully staged rollout. Rockstar isn’t rushing things, but they’re also not staying silent. The trailers are out, the characters are introduced, the jobs are filled — and now the physical world is about to reflect that.

GTA 6 ads around the world aren’t just speculation anymore. They’re coming. The marketing machine is warming up, the game is still on schedule, and Rockstar’s biggest release ever is about to take over more countries than any Grand Theft Auto before it.
