Epic Games has officially extended the popular Blitz Royale game mode in Fortnite through August 12, giving fans almost a month of additional time to dive into its fast-paced action and earn exclusive rewards.

Blitz Royale is a roguelike twist on the classic Fortnite formula. Matches last just five minutes and drop 32 players into a compact map. Each participant starts with a random medallion and weapon drawn from previous seasons. The goal? Originally, Blitz Royale was slated to run from June 18 to July 15, but overwhelming player enthusiasm has led Epic to extend the mode.
