Inzoi Devs Address “WooHoo” Equivalent Ahead of Early Access Launch
As Inzoi nears its early access debut on March 28, players are eager to learn about its take on relationships – specifically, whether the game will feature a Sims-style romantic interaction like “WooHoo.”
Will Inzoi Have a “WooHoo” Equivalent?
During a recent Q&A on Discord, assistant director Joel Lee addressed the question of whether players can engage in interactions “for the purpose of creating babies.” His response? It’s in the game, but you’ll need to use your imagination.
“There is a feature in the game that you obviously know what's happening,” Lee explained. “The male Zoi and the female Zoi are together, likely in bed, with the intention of creating babies. How visually apparent is that? That's where you have to go to your imagination.”
In other words, Inzoi won’t feature the exaggerated love hearts, fireworks, or playful animations seen in The Sims. Instead, it seems to be taking a more subtle, realistic approach.
How Will Romance Work in Inzoi?
While Lee’s response focused on baby-making, it’s unclear how Inzoi will handle romance and intimacy outside of procreation. The game does support same-sex relationships, so interactions won’t be strictly limited to having children. However, whether romantic moments will be depicted on-screen or implied remains to be seen.

Given Inzoi’s focus on realism – despite its characters still wearing towels in the shower, it makes sense that Krafton is avoiding The Sims’ over-the-top WooHoo antics.
When Does Inzoi Release?
Inzoi launches in early access on March 28 via Steam. The game aims to deliver a more grounded take on the life-sim genre, standing out from The Sims with its realistic animations and mechanics.
For those craving more romantic chaos, The Sims 4’s Lovestruck Expansion Pack – which introduced new WooHoo spots and a sultry aubergine costume – might hold you over until Inzoi reveals more.
