Titled "Hunters," Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is set to launch on December 1, 2024. While Epic Games has remained tight-lipped about many details, numerous leaks have provided glimpses of what’s to come. Among these are new movement abilities that have sparked mixed reactions within the fanbase.

A short video shared by the Twitter account FNAssist highlights four new moves that players will soon be able to perform. These include wall runs, wall kicks, powerful launch jumps, and ground rolls. These mechanics are designed to offer greater mobility and evasion during battles.

New Movement Options in Fortnite Chapter 6:

  • Wall runs
  • Wall kicks
  • Launch jumps
  • Ground rolls

The addition of these movement abilities has divided players. Supporters, especially fans of the Zero Build mode, are excited about the enhanced mobility. Critics, however, argue that Epic Games should focus more on refining traditional gameplay modes.

Both official trailers and leaked information hint at a heavy feudal Japan influence in Chapter 6. The new locations will blend modern designs with the vibrant aesthetics of 12th-century Kyoto. Leaked points of interest include a demon arena for battling AI opponents and an industrial town with two towers emitting purple smoke.

Additionally, players may gain new mechanics such as going prone, swinging on ropes, and using a hook shot item. However, it’s unclear whether these features will debut on December 1 or be introduced in later seasons.
