NASCAR goes into virtual league format for several weeks
Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, a new virtual racing league eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series was organized, which will last several weeks. It will be attended by the current NASCAR champion Kyle Bush, as well as several other racers: Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson and Dale Ernhardt Jr. The eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series kicks off this Sunday.
The debut of the first race will take place on the Homestead-Miami Speedway. It was on it that riders in real life were going to perform this weekend before the season was suspended, presumably until the beginning of May. While there is no information about whether there will be any broadcasts of these races, but Fox Sports discussed this opportunity. If the stream is organized, then in any case it will break the iRacing record, which is 23,700 viewers on Twitch. By the way, the record was set last Sunday.
