Battlefield 2042 release has been postponed
Electronic Arts once again brought some not-so-good news to their fans. This time they told about the postponement of the release date of Battlefield 2042. The game about war in the setting of the near future should be released on November 19, 2021. The information appeared on the company's Twitter account.
Difficulties that arose during the development of the title were named as the main reason for the transfer. The authors blame the coronavirus pandemic for this, and in order to meet the expectations for the game, the developers will have to spend additional time working with the title.
Battlefield 2042 was supposed to hit store shelves on October 22 this year, but now we can expect a shooter published by Electronic Arts on November 19. The title will have to visit not only the next generation computers and consoles, but also the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One. The version for outdated consoles will differ in reduced technical capabilities and a lower number of the maximum allowed number of players on one map. Along with the bad news, Electronic Arts brought some good news. By the end of the month, they will have to publish information about the beta testing of the title. Tom Hendersen, a well-known insider, said that fans of the series will most likely be able to try out a demo version of the new product on September 24th.
