Envy Gaming invites Eric Duncan and Erin Shandl to their marketing team
Texas-based esports organization Envy Gaming has invited Eric Duncan and Erin Shandl to join its sales and marketing team. Duncan will be the head of marketing for the organization, while Shandl has been named senior vice president of sales and partnerships at Envy Gaming.
Prior to joining the organization, Shandl spent 12 years on the WFAA television channel in Dallas as a Sales and Account Manager. Duncan joins Envy Gaming after six years at video production company Rooster Teeth. Most recently, he was the company's vice president of marketing.
Adam Rymer, CEO of Envy Gaming:“Eric and Erin are proven leaders who are successful at every stage of their careers, creating innovative programs and new ways for a larger audience to engage with content and brands they love. We are pleased to add them to our talented team at a defining moment for Envy Gaming as we expand our role at the intersection of gaming, entertainment and technology. "
In their new roles, Duncan and Shandl will oversee the Envy Gaming organization in its strategic collaboration with brands, media organizations and new ventures, according to a press release. Interestingly, the hiring of new staff comes after Envy Gaming appointed three new executives to its Board of Directors back in July.
