As a reminder, Elgiganten first partnered with the Copenhagen Flames esports organization in 2016. Most recently, the parties co-hosted a local Fortnite championship called the Elgiganten Invitational.

Copenhagen Flames CEO and Founder, Steffen Thomsen:“It's a bit like an adventure when I think about our partnership with Elgiganten. They took a chance with us back in 2016, when we were completely green and couldn't imagine anything but a vision. and strategy. Now, five years later, we are here, where Elgiganten has supported us through the ups and downs, and where we have achieved everything we hoped for and more. That is why I am also extremely pleased that we signed a historic an agreement that expands and strengthens our partnership for the next three years. "

As a result of the expansion of the deal, the company will remain the main sponsor of Copenhagen Flames. Moreover, the Elgiganten logo will continue to be featured on the esports organization's jerseys.

Earlier, Elgiganten announced a three-year agreement with DreamHack Sports Games. Through this deal, Elgiganten SE and Elgiganten DK partnered with DSG in the FIFA, eAllsvenskan and eSuperliga leagues.
