OneTeam Partners acquires esports and gaming agency Theorycraft
North American professional sports agency OneTeam Partners has announced the acquisition of esports and gaming consulting firm Theorycraft.
As part of the acquisition, Theorycraft co-founders Lauren Gaba Flanagan and Nathan McVitty will be integrated into OneTeam Partners.
Gaba Flanagan joins OneTeam Partners as Chief Strategy Officer, McVitty as Chief Creative Officer, and Bryce Bloom will remain as a consultant.
According to the press release, their expertise in the gaming, esports, sports and marketing industries will further strengthen OneTeam Partners' gaming and esports business.
Also the leader of the gaming business of OneTeam Partners is the co-founder and former CEO of Splyce Marty Strenchevilk, who heads the Competitive Gaming company. In addition, Devin Radford, former Disney Games and Interactive Experiences VP of Business Development, is currently the company's senior vice president.
Note that OneTeam Partners represents the interests of the commercial business of athletes in various North American associations. The firm is backed by founding partners of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), MLB Players Association (MLBPA) and RedBird Capital Partners.
