Combat Gaming to host Fortnite charity tournament
38 Entertainment Group, owned by eSports organization Combat Gaming, has announced a Fortnite charity tournament featuring athletes and esports athletes, streamers and other famous personalities.
The event, which will take place on January 28, will feature professional footballers such as Daniel James and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as well as Benjyfishy from NRG, Grefg streamer, musician James Arthur and many more. Participants will compete for a portion of the $ 50,000 prize pool. It is noted that the money will go to charity.
To support the tournament, the organization partnered with Gaming Bible, part of the LAD Bible Group, to provide live coverage across all of its platforms throughout the tournament.
In addition, this event will also be streamed on the Combat Gaming Twitch channel. As a partner of the tournament, Twitch will be promoting the event on its homepage.
According to a press release, the organization plans to host a total of four tournaments throughout 2021.
The tournament will be played in teams of three, with each team consisting of a professional player, streamer and celebrity. The prize pool will be divided among the top three teams
