Red Bull launches Campus Clutch
Continuing its partnership with Riot Games for the VALORANT Champions Tour, Red Bull has announced a new collegiate esports championship, the Red Bull Campus Clutch. As part of the tournament, university-age students will compete against each other in three stages - the qualifying round, the National Final and the World Final. As part of the last stage, Red Bull will compete for a prize fund of € 20,000 ($ 24,300).
Notably, while Campus Clutch is a tournament for university students, teams will not be limited to a specific institution, allowing players to create teams across the region.
The tournament will be hosted by Red Bull, which has selected several sponsors for the event, including AOC, SteelSeries and Intel. Each of them will act as a hardware partner.
The qualifying round starts in February and runs until 23 May.
