Oakley Partners with Envy Gaming

North American esports organization Envy Gaming has announced a partnership with sports equipment and premium eyewear brand Oakley. Through this deal, Oakley will also become the exclusive partner of OpTic Gaming, while the esports club players will wear the provided equipment during matches and live streams.

As part of the partnership, Oakley will be featured as a jersey sponsor for OpTic Gaming's Halo and VALORANT teams, as well as OpTic Texas, which is a franchise in the Call of Duty League. Last March, the Oakley brand was already featured on the team's jersey during the broadcast of the Call of Duty League 2022 Major I, in which OpTic Texas became the champion.

Adam Rymer, CEO of Envy Gaming: "As a former beach volleyball player and client for over 30 years, Oakley has always been in the pantheon of high end brands and products. The brand entered esports en masse with Envy Gaming and OpTic Gaming as it's a whole world to us, and we are thrilled to be working together to build this legacy in new venues."

The Oakley logo is also featured on the left sleeve of the jersey for the VALORANT team, which most recently won the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík.

For most, this partnership was not a surprise, as Oakley had already partnered with an OpTic Gaming representative. The brand has already partnered with Seth “Scump” Abner, one of the best Call of Duty players in the world who plays for OpTic Texas.
