Serral became the winner of IEM Katowice 2022 in StarCraft II
IEM Katowice 2022 in StarCraft II has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from February 23 to February 27 in Poland, 36 esports players from all over the world competed for a prize pool of $500,000. The winner of the tournament was the Finnish esportsman Serral, representing the organization ENCE. In the final of the championship, the player turned out to be stronger than the Italian Reynor from Team QLASH with a score of 4:3.
The tournament for the future winner started with five confident victories in the group stage, following which Serral took a well-deserved first place in the group, making it to the playoffs. Already here, the Finnish esportsman outplayed Maru (3:1) and Rogue (3:0), thus being in the final. In the decisive match, Serral managed to outplay Reynor (4:3), thus earning $171,000.
