CIS Minor Championship - Katowice 2019

The winners: AVANGAR and Team Spirit

AVANGAR placed second in Group B and, having advanced to the playoffs, passed the upper bracket and prevailed in the final match of the upper bracket. Team Spirit, in turn, held the first place in Group A but, having reached the playoffs, stepped down to the loser’s bracket and passed lower, having grabbed the second invitation to the Major tournament. AVANGAR earned the main money prize in the sum of $30,000 and Team Spirit received $15,000. Due to the third place, Winstrike will receive a chance to perform at Play-In at IEM Katowice Major 2019. There, two invitations to the main event will be up for grabs.

The winners: ENCE eSports and Team Vitality

ENCE and Vitality held the first places in their groups. Having made it to the playoffs, the Finnish team succeeded through the upper bracket, while Vitality became the owners of the second invite to the Major tournament with a help of a victory in the lower bracket. The main money prize in the sum of $30,000 was received by the players from ENCE eSports and $15,000 were earned by Team Vitality. North will take part in the Play-In stage, in which they will against have a chance to earn an invitation to IEM Katowice Major 2019.
