The Spanish esports organization Movistar Riders has presented an updated roster for the CS: GO discipline. The team has also officially confirmed rumors of smooya's departure by signing former Iberian Family players.

Movistar Riders announced that it has signed with SunPayus, dav1g and DeathZz, completing the rebuilding and getting back to basics. The new trio join the two remaining Spanish players, alez and mopoz, as the British skyper smooya has been moved to the bench to allow a return to the Spanish-speaking quintet.

The rookies come after a tough season, whose international expansion has failed to materialize. And if at the start of the season the team managed to win the ESL European Championship Winter 2020, OMEN WGR European Challenge and ESL Masters España Season 9, then at all the iconic championships the international squad did not manage to justify itself.

With this signing, the team puts an end to their restructuring, since a week earlier Movistar Riders sent steel to the bench, parting with shokz along the way.

Now the team will have to prove their worth, as ESEA Premier Season 38 will begin very soon. In addition, the Spanish team will be preparing for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021, which starts in mid-October.

From now on, the roster of Movistar Riders is as follows:

  • alex.
  • mopoz.
  • dav1g.
  • DeathZz.
  • SunPayus.
