Jonathan 'EliGE' Jablonowski on Discord answered a question about his attitude towards studio competition. The American esportsman drew a parallel between this type of competition and LAN events. He said that the feeling of playing in a closed format is completely different due to the fact that there is no arena with spectators.

For me, studio competitions are not really LAN tournaments. LAN is when you really feel the pressure when the crowd cheers for or against you. You feel this energy around you and the games become more addictive.

The major offline event PGL Major Stockholm 2021 starts on October 23rd and ends on November 7th. The championship will feature 24 teams that will compete for a total prize pool of $ 2,000,000 and ESL Pro Tour and BLAST Premier rating points.
