Rumors: Organization ALTERNATE aTTaX will leave CS:GO
According to the 1hp.de portal, the German esports organization ALTERNATE aTTaX will leave the CS:GO discipline. The club is currently considering closing the division and has already said goodbye to its latest squad, as revealed by the players themselves. It is reported that the leadership of the German organization has not yet made a final decision, but leaving CS: GO is the most likely scenario.
ALTERNATE aTTaX is one of the oldest organizations not only in Germany, but in the entire eSports. The club formed its first CS:GO roster back in 2003.
During its existence, many well-known representatives of the German scene have passed through the structure of the organization, including roman, Roman R., kRYSTAL, tiziaN, gob b, enkay J, syrsoN, tow b, k1to and many others.
The last line-up of ALTERNATE aTTaX was formed at the beginning of 2022. However, in the summer the organization made changes to the team, significantly updating the core. However, the team did not achieve any significant success, making it into the top three at Fragster League Season 1, Kayzr League Spring 2022, European Pro League Season 3 and ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022.
Remarkably, the news about the possible departure of the organization from the discipline comes after the parting of ALTERNATE aTTaX with its former line-up. The day before, PANIX unexpectedly announced that shortly after the loss to Sprout at ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022, the club stopped working with the players.
If the information is confirmed, this will be the second German club to decide to leave the discipline after cowana Gaming. Recall that the local organization also announced its full closure at the end of the year.
