MAJ3R became the fifth player in Eternal Fire
Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire has completed the CS:GO roster by signing a contract with MAJ3R. The 31-year-old Turkish player returns from VALORANT and reunites with his former Space Soldiers teammates.
We are happy to introduce MAJ3R, a new member of our CS:GO team! Welcome to our family, MAJ3R.
MAJ3R is a legend of the Turkish scene, considered one of its progenitors. Playing for the Space Soldiers team, the 31-year-old Turkish esportsman became the winner of WESG 2016 Middle East & Africa Finals, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge, Europe Minor Championship - Boston 2018 and DreamHack Open Austin 2018, and also took second place in World Electronic Sports Games 2017.
After spending the last part of his CS:GO career with Sangal Esports, MAJ3R moved to the VALORANT discipline. However, during his performance with the Digital Athletics team, he never managed to achieve success in the new discipline, having failed both qualifications at VRL 2022 Turkey: Birlik Stage 2, and most recently left the team.
Everyone knows the story we once made. But we never managed to do the same thing again. After adventuring in Sangal, I wanted to try out a career in VALORANT, but I understand that the Riot Games system is completely different from CS. It was a good experience. Yes, as you guys have seen, I am joining Eternal Fire,” wrote MAJ3R.
In turn, the Turkish team recently parted ways with Calyx, who was the founder of the original team line-up. The next championship for Eternal Fire is ESL Pro League Season 16, which will start at the end of August.
From now on, the composition of Eternal Fire by CS:GO is as follows:
- XANTARES
- woxic
- imoRR
- MAJ3R
- xfl0ud
- bishop (coach)
