The Pinnacle Cup Championship is a testament to the shared long-term vision that we have been committed to along with Pinnacle since the beginning of our partnership to provide a unique, entertaining experience for esports enthusiasts and to benefit from Pinnacle's unique data offering and pioneering experience in esports betting. The Pinnacle Cup has now grown into a well-established esports tournament, attracting many of the world's top teams. We aim to strengthen this position with the upcoming LAN event in Lund.

Paris Smith, CEO of Pinnacle:

We are pleased to announce the Pinnacle Cup Championship in Lund. "Pinnacle Esports" has become a standalone brand specifically for the esports community that we constantly want to listen to and demonstrate our interest in growing within the community. We have added new esports disciplines to our offer, raised our betting limits to offer unrivaled odds in the esports markets, launched a dedicated esports hub integrated with live streaming and of course our iconic Pinnacle Cup series!

A total of eight teams will take part in the Pinnacle Cup Championship, three of which have already received invitations from the organizers: Heroic, fnatic and Imperial. The remaining slot allocation has not been revealed, although the organizer has stated that "additional invitations will be announced in the coming weeks".

The Pinnacle Cup Championship will be the culmination of over two years of events supported by Pinnacle in partnership with GRID Esports. Two more Pinnacle Cups are said to take place ahead of the planned LAN tournament, with more details expected to be announced in the near future.
