NBK- spoke about his diagnosis
NBK- shared his diagnosis on Twitter. The 27-year-old French esports athlete has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
It's been a long time since I was really active on social media, and here's why: I've done a lot of introspection over the past couple of months and have now been diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) with a tendency towards Asperger's Syndrome.
According to NBK-, the diagnosis has both negative and positive aspects, applicable to itself.
Here are some "advantages" that I feel apply to me: No judgment in dealing with people, high degree of honesty, original problem-solving approach, good pattern recognition.
Negative sides: clumsiness in communication, repeated repetition of monotonous actions, inability to understand what the other person is feeling, sometimes the wrong attitude to events.
The esportsman himself reflected and asked for forgiveness from the people he had harmed during his career.
This conclusion allows me to better understand the past moments that happened in different teams and throughout my life, and also explains why I have always been different from other players, especially in the French scene. It will also help other people to work better with me in the future for maximum efficiency.
This disease does not need to be treated and can be a strong point if used correctly.
I have hurt some of my teammates in my career and I want to apologize to them. I have never sincerely judged a person for who they are or what they believe in, nor have I spoken or acted on purpose to hurt them.
At the end NBK- announced his continued career. Note that this disease does not put an end to the career of the French player. In addition, many famous personalities have lived and are living with this diagnosis, including Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Bill Gates and Elon Musk. According to rumors, the 27-year-old French esportsman may continue his career with MOUZ.
NBK has been performing on the professional stage since 2009. Over the 12 years of his career, the player has changed many clubs, including VeryGames, Titan eSports, LDLC, G2 Esports and Vitality. The last team in his esports career was OG, for which he played from the end of 2019 to February 2021.
