All news: Miracle-
The future Dota 2 star was born on June 20, 1997. Amer's history of becoming one of the best players in the world began in early childhood. Love for computer games was instilled in Amer by his older brother, who himself was fond of competitive multiplayer, but at an amateur level. Miracle went further.
Carier start
Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi entered the professional scene in January 2015, although there were attempts in 2013 and 2014. Being a promising and already outstanding player, Miracle became a member of his first relatively serious team Balkan Bears on the first of January 2015.
In the first Balkan Bears roster with Miracle, Padrinho, Masakary, YapzOr and Levi- played in the mid position. In the future, another native of the Balkan Bears, YapzOr, will gain fame as a title dotter.
Played for Balkan Bears Miracle for 5 months. During this period, Amer played at local events, where he showed mediocre results with the team. Balkan Bears took TOP-8 at Esportal Dota 2 League Open Tournament 1, second place at Bridon Open Cup, TOP-8 at Iron Trophy Europe and TOP-4 at Hitbox EU Championship.
The last Miracle- tournament as part of the Balkan Bears was the Mountain Trall Challenge, where the Balkan Bears did not finish their performance. It didn't matter to Miracle - BigDaddy and Fly contacted him and invited him to play for (monkey) Business. This moment can be considered a key turning point in the professional career of a novice player.
(monkey) Business and early successes
By joining the (monkey) Business roster, Miracle joined the players who had already made a name for themselves: BigDaddy (n0tail), MoonMeander, Cr1t- and Fly.
The debut championship for Miracle- in the new team was the MLG World Finals European Qualifiers. In fact, it was not quite a championship, but qualifiers for the MLG World Finals global event, however, according to the composition of the participants, it was suitable to be called a TIR-1 tournament.
At the MLG World Finals European Qualifiers, 5Jungz played with MATUMBAMAN, FATA-, MinD_ContRol, JerAx and Kuroky, Alliance with the Swedish five Loda, s4, AdmiralBulldog, Akke and Mynuts, NAVI with XBOCT veterans, Dendi and Funn1k, Amer's former teammate YapzOr in Monkey Freedom Fighters with 7ckngMad (Ceb) on the same team.
The debut tournament with serious opponents was a breakthrough for (monkey) Business: the team went through the qualifiers, beating 5Jungz, Vega Squadron, NiP on the way to the trophy and closing CIS Rejects in the final.
Before the start of the MLG World Finals main event, (monkey) Business played at a number of other smaller tournaments, including the World Cyber Arena 2015 - European Pro Qualifier, where the player, along with his teammates, took the TOP-8.
Another key milestone before the start of the MLG World Finals was the qualifiers for The Frankfurt Major 2015 from Europe, which (monkey) Business won, shutting out NiP in the final.
Returning to the MLG World Finals, the first major LAN tournament, it's worth mentioning (monkey) Business there as well. The unique playstyle mixed with the chemistry formed in the team allowed the team to reach the TOP-4 of the event. Later, all these factors will come into play at The Frankfurt Major 2015.
OG.Miracle- and two-time Major championship
In November 2015, (monkey) Business players found a new esports unit - the OG club. There is a proverb about the first pancake being lumpy, but in the case of OG, it was not confirmed.
The first championship for OG was Dota 2 Champions League Season 6, where the club took 3rd place. D2CL became a warm-up event before the main course - The Frankfurt Major 2015.
The German tournament for Miracle- and the company started from group B, where Amer and his teammates took 3rd place and, as a result, started the playoffs from the lower bracket. Even then, Miracle had a mantra: “Upper bracket for bitches”. OG won the major by going over the heads of their opponents in the losers' bracket, and in the final they defeated the formidable Team Secret with a score of 3-1.
Later, OG slowed down a bit: the team played imposingly at local tournaments, although Miracle- was not famous for such an attitude to business: Amer was passionate about the game and always wanted to win. He failed to do it in Shanghai, at The Shanghai Major 2016, where Team Secret triumphed.
It was possible to return the missed opportunity in China at The Manila Major, where, as part of OG Miracle, he earned his second Major title. Along with his teammates, Miracle became the first two-time Major champion.
However, there is no barrel of honey, no fly in the ointment. In the case of the OG format of 2016, The International 2016 became the tar. Having approached the tournament in the status of an obvious favorite, the team failed to live up to expectations and sensationally flew into the TOP-12, losing to TNC.
For Miracle, this was the last tournament in the OG camp.
Transfer to Team Liquid and the championship at The International 2017
In October 2016, Miracle- moves to Team Liquid, where he meets MATUMBAMAN, KuroKy and MinD_ContoRoL, with whom he already crossed paths at the MLG World Finals European Qualifiers. Becoming teammates, the trio of Mirarcle, KuroKy, MC in the future set a record for the duration of a joint game. By the end of the year, Miracle's friend Lebanese GH joins the team. With a friendly atmosphere within the team, Liquid are quickly shaping up as a top team.
The first results came before the end of 2016, but big achievements were waiting for 2017. Before Liquid got there, they won DreamLeague Season 6.
The new season of Liquid started with the championship at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, and then advanced to The Kiev Major. At the Kiev major, “liquid” took TOP-8.
A mediocre performance at the main tournament before The International 2017 could have had a deplorable effect on the subsequent performance of the club, but everything happened the other way around. After the Kyiv Major, Liquid is having a blitzkrieg, winning at StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 2, EPICENTER 2017, DreamLeague Season 7 and subsequently getting to The International 2017 as one of the main contenders for victory.
The 2017 World Championship starts briskly for Liquid, but already in the playoffs, the Miracle team gets under a cold shower. IG sends Team Liquid to the lower bracket, where “Upper bracket for bitches” and a lightning run for the championship happen.
In the grand final of The International 2017, Miracle, who, by the way, changed his position to a full-fledged carry, plays three filigree cards. This helps Liquid become the first-ever The International champions to win the final by a shutout.
After the championship at The International 2017, Liquid continue to play at their peak until March 2018. During this period, they win WCA 2017, StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 3, AMD SAPPHIRE Dota PIT League, StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 4. There were also TOP-3 hits at ESL One Hamburg 2017, DreamLeague Season 8, ESL One Genting 2018, ESL One Katowice 2018, The Bucharest Major.
The reigning world champions again approached The International 2018 in the status of a favorite. Miracle and the company before him won the China Dota 2 Supermajor and also took the TOP-2 at EPICENTER XL.
The 2018 World Championship for Miracle and the company ended in fourth place. The team lost to Evil Geniuses, failing to defend the title.
The last season for Miracle as part of Team Liquid was the 2019 season. During the year, Amer and the team did not slow down in terms of performance, continuing to stay at the peak of competitive dota for the third year in a row. This is confirmed by TOP-2 at MDL Disneyland Paris Major, EPICENTER Major 2019 and at The International 2019 itself, where Miracle and company lost to OG in the final.
Nigma Galaxy, decline, career pause
Leaving Liquid marked the emergence of a new club - Nigma Galaxy. Enlisting the support of sponsors from the UAE, Miracle and the company founded a new organization.
The rebranding brought with it a change in performance, as Nigma dropped performance for all artists, including Miracle. The best result for the year was the victory at WePlay Bukovel Minor 2020, WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS. At other major events like ESL One Germany 2020 and EPIC League Season 2 Division 1, Nigma barely entered the TOP-8.
The year 2021 became a little more colorful, when Nigma Galaxy managed to take the TOP-3 in the Western European league twice and visit the Major twice. However, they limited themselves to visiting Nigma, at least at ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, where they took the TOP-16. At WePlay AniMajor, the team finished in the TOP-6, which did not help them qualify for The International directly, and lost the Miracle- qualifier with the team.
Contributed to the failures of chaos within the team. Nigma couldn't decide on a fifth player, which is why Miracle often had to change position, moving from mid to safe lane and back.
With the same problems, Nigma entered 2022, where they failed in the lower division of Western Europe, as a result won the third round in the same second division and again flew past The International.
In December 2022, Miracle- announced that he will miss the 2023 season, but will remain in the Nigma Galaxy structure and will help his teammates.
