Halo Infinite has started its second season
The developers of Halo Infinite from 343 Industries continue to develop the multiplayer component of their shooter. The second season of the free-to-play Halo Infinite has arrived.
The new season will bring a lot of new things to the game. A little more about the main implementations.
New cards
Fans of multiplayer Halo Infinite will be able to fight on two new maps. With the release of the second season, Catalyst and Breaker will appear in the game.
Catalyst - The ruins of an ancient Forerunner structure. The developers describe the map as well balanced and ready for squad battles.
Breaker is a map from the Big Team Battle series that accommodates a large number of players. The desert landscape, coupled with the floating debris of buildings, helps to make mass carnage with the use of vehicles more spectacular.
New modes
With the release of the new season, additional modes will appear in the game. These are King of the Hill, Last Grab and Last Spartan.
King of Kings is a battle between teams for points on the map. You need to capture certain areas and get points for it.
Last Grab is another mode for capturing points. Three zones appear on the map, which, after being captured, are blocked and bring the team 1 point. The first person to score 11 points wins.
Last Spartan is a mod in which 12 players fight for themselves. The Spartans have 5 health, and each kill in the mode allows you to change weapons. The winner is the last surviving player.
Customization
With the second season, two new armor cores will appear in the game: RAKSHASA and EAGLESTRIKE. The first armor was inspired by the theme of the season, while the second combines elements of steampunk and high-tech fabrics.
In addition, the new season will feature a new battle pass, temporary event, and more. More information about what's new can be found on the Halo Infinite website.
