Team Vitality announces partnership with Crédit Agricole
French esports organization Team Vitality has announced a partnership with local financial conglomerate Crédit Agricole. As part of the deal, Crédit Agricole will become the official partner of the esports club, as well as the main partner of the Vitality School training course.
Further activations are also under development and will be made public in the coming months. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality: "It is a pleasure to work with Crédit Agricole, which is not only an iconic French institution, but also one of the top 10 banks worldwide. At Team Vitality, we have always considered education and development as a main pillar, not only for our players, but also for our community, so it's great to partner with an organization that shares these values."
In line with the Crédit Agricole Group's social project, which it says aims to "support the transformation of society," the partnership will increase support for young people in both the digital and physical realms.
Michel Ganzin, Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole SA: "This partnership is in line with our desire to strengthen social cohesion and inclusion, especially among young people. By reaching out to them through the growing interest in esports, Crédit Agricole wants to become a vector of connections."
Launched in August 2020, Vitality School is an online esports training course providing 12-17 year olds with the opportunity to take part in esports and gaming courses during the school holidays. Aimed at players of all levels, Vitality School covers topics such as the history of Vitality, the daily life of an esports player, and the importance of a balanced lifestyle.
The partnership will also cover Team Vitality's League Of Legends team, as well as players in Rocket League, FIFA, and Fortnite. Crédit Agricole branding will reportedly be featured across all assets and content.
