Now the number of rating points that users will receive at the end of the match will be fixed. This applies to both single and group matches. Now the quick and slow search for games has been removed, and they were replaced by the classic matchmaking and search for the game by roles. To participate in the latter, you now need to earn tokens. They are issued after the Dota 2 user plays 5 matches on different roles.
In single ranked matches, players will now receive not 25, but 30 MMR, while participants in group matches will be able to get only 20 points. Valve explained this by saying that the player’s qualities can be appreciated much better in single battles.
