Alternate Attax won ESWC 2016

ESWC 2016 hosted in France from October 27 till 30 is over. The event was held as a part of Paris Games Week exhibition. In the grand-final between Alternate Attax and Team LDLC, the fGerman team managed to take the main prize.

The way to the championship was not easy. Alternate Attax won matches against Team Preparation, Fnatic.Academy and Platinium. The only map they’ve lost wad the map in the grand-final against LDLC.

CIS teams Gambit Gaming and Team Preparation demonstrated a disappointing game. Gambits took 5-8 place, and Team Preparation fall to the 9-16 place.

The prize pool of ESWC 2016 is $75,000, and it is distributed in the following way:

1 place: Alternate Attax - $20,000

2 place: Team LDLC - $15,000

3-4 places: Space Soldiers / Platinium - $10,000

5-8 places: Gambit / Tricked / Epsilon / Fnatic Academy - $5,000
