sergej will leave GORILLAZ

According to Finnish insider nuoriiikka, sergej will soon announce his departure from GORILLAZ. According to the source, the 19-year-old esportsman is already out of the team.

sergej appeared on the professional scene back in 2015, however, he received his portion of fame only in 2018, when he joined ENCE. Together with the team, the 19-year-old player won several big championships, including StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6, DreamHack Open Winter 2018 and BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019. In addition, the esportsman took part in the Intel Extreme Masters XIII final - Katowice Major 2019, in which, together with ENCE, they lost to Astralis with a score of 0:2.

However, at the end of 2020, sergej left the ENCE team, as the player went to serve in the structure of the Finnish Defense Forces. Six months later, the esportsman returned to the stage to finally leave ENCE and join the GORILLAZ project. However, for the rest of the season, the 19-year-old Finnish esportsman did not achieve success, finishing in the TOP-4 at Pelaajat.com Series: Fall 2021.

Recall that the future of GORILLAZ is a big question. At the end of last year, flusha and JW left the team. It was previously reported that the team would build a new roster around suNny, but as of today, there has been no news from the GORILLAZ camp.

GORILLAZ's current roster is as follows:

  • sergej.
  • suNny
  • supra (stand-in).
  • lmbt (coach).
