Unicorns of Love disbanded CS:GO roster

The German esports organization Unicorns of Love has decided to disband its CS: GO roster. The organization announced this on its Twitter. The reason for this decision was the growing costs of maintaining the team, the lack of sponsors and the coronavirus, which makes the further development of the division unclear.

Unicorns of Love announced that the current roster has active contracts until December 31st, after which the players will become free agents. The organization thanked the players for their cooperation and wished them the best in the future. At the same time, Unicorns of Love, as stated in a press release, is not going to return to the discipline in the near future.

Unicorns of Love entered CS: GO in January 2019. In particular, the team was represented by JDC, who now represents MOUZ NXT. The last Unicorns of Love roster was formed in January 2021, when Anhuin, HadeZ and Python joined the team. This year, the German team will be remembered for being in the TOP-2 at ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2021 and 99Liga S17 Div. 1, as well as the fourth place in the ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2021.
