Eternal Fire announced that it had signed a contract with xfl0ud, completing its roster after the departure of ISSAA, which left the team earlier this week after failing to adapt to the Turkish squad.

The 18-year-old Turkish player joins the super team after a short run for GORILLAZ, where he spent three months before sitting on the bench waiting for the best options. As part of a team led by flusha, xfl0ud performed in only three championships, being remembered only by an early departure from BLAST Rising 2021 and Elisa Invitational Summer 2021 Regionals.

Interestingly, the young player was actively wooed into the Eternal Fire lineup even before the official announcement of the final five. However, then the team decided to invite ISSAA, as a result of which xfl0ud himself was upset, never being able to get into the local team.

However, the player has already been seen playing alongside his Turkish compatriots in the second open qualifier for IEM Winter 2021 in Europe. Despite the 15:19 defeat of Eternal Fire by Wisla Krakow, xfl0ud showed promising results, topping the leaderboard of his team.

Soon, Eternal Fire will take part in the closed qualifier for DreamHack Open November, which will be held from October 20 to 21.

From now on, the composition of Eternal Fire is as follows:

  • woxic.
  • XANTARES.
  • Calyx.
  • imoRR.
  • xfl0ud.
  • bishop (trainer).
