The Fortnite Champion Series 2026 Major 1 Summit has officially concluded, with vic0 and Malibuca claiming first place after a dominant and consistent Grand Finals performance.
The European duo finished on top with 406 points, securing the championship title, $250,000, and a spot at the 2026 Fortnite Global Championship.
Peterbot and Pollo Finish Second Despite Two Wins
One of the biggest storylines of the tournament was the performance of Peterbot and Pollo. The NA Central duo won two matches in the Grand Finals and finished second overall with 374 points, earning $150,000.
Despite their strong showing, they could not catch vic0 and Malibuca, who managed to win the tournament without taking a single Victory Royale. Their result once again proved how valuable consistency is in competitive Fortnite.

One of Fortnite’s Biggest Events of 2026
The FNCS Summit LAN represents the first true international Fortnite test of the year, bringing together regional champions, veteran LAN players, and rising stars in a single high-pressure environment.
With a unique format, major prize pool, and Global Championship qualification spots on the line, the tournament could completely reshape the competitive Fortnite landscape heading deeper into 2026.
The FNCS Major 1 Summit LAN is finally here, bringing together some of the best Fortnite duos from around the world. With top-tier veterans, breakout stars from smaller regions, and a completely different tournament format, this LAN is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable FNCS events in recent memory.
Unlike regular online FNCS tournaments, LAN events remain the ultimate test of consistency, adaptability, and pressure handling. This year’s Summit LAN also introduces a unique setup featuring multiple competition days and separate player groups, making preparation even more important.
Here are some of the standout duos to keep an eye on heading into the tournament.
Sky and Scroll
Sky and Scroll arrive at the FNCS Major 1 Summit LAN as one of the strongest favorites.

The duo recently claimed first place in Europe during FNCS Major 1, widely considered the most competitive Fortnite region in the world. Their victory became even more impressive considering several major names struggled throughout the event, including previous LAN champions who failed to qualify entirely.
However, Europe has always been one of the most unpredictable regions in competitive Fortnite. Dominating one tournament does not always guarantee success at the next, and surprise underdog performances continue happening regularly.
Even so, Sky and Scroll currently look like one of the most complete teams entering the event.
Veno and Curve
Veno and Curve became one of the biggest stories of the season after leaving Europe and dominating the North American competition during Major 1.

While much of the attention in NAC focused on public drama between other top players, Veno and Curve quietly outperformed many tournament favorites and secured a massive statement victory in a completely different region.
Since returning to Europe, the duo has not maintained the same level of dominance consistently, but their Major performance proved they can compete with anyone on the biggest stage.
They remain one of the most dangerous teams heading into LAN.
Khanada and VicterV

Normally, NA West winners would not immediately be considered favorites at an international LAN. However, Khanada and VicterV are a completely different case.
Khanada already established himself as a top-tier North American pro through multiple strong LAN performances and years of consistency. After roster complications earlier this season, the move to NA West ended up working surprisingly well, with the duo putting together an impressive Major campaign.
However, there is already another challenge ahead.
Just before the tournament, Fortnite’s latest update removed Khanada’s primary drop spot, forcing the team to completely rethink their strategy. Similar situations have impacted Khanada before in previous FNCS seasons, although this time the duo has slightly more preparation time before LAN begins.
Whether the POI change becomes a major problem or simply another obstacle to overcome remains one of the most interesting storylines of the tournament.
Pollo and Peterbot
Pollo and Peterbot enter the Summit LAN with enormous expectations despite a less dominant start to 2026.

The duo spent much of 2024 establishing themselves among Fortnite’s elite, while both players continued finding success separately throughout 2025. Following disappointing LAN results previously, many expected this season to become their major comeback year.
Major 1, however, did not fully go according to plan.
Although Peterbot continued posting elite individual statistics, including some of the strongest damage numbers in the tournament, the duo narrowly missed out on a championship finish.
For most teams, those results would still be considered excellent. But for a player widely viewed as one of the best in the world, expectations remain much higher.
Despite recent struggles, Pollo and Peterbot still possess the skill ceiling to dominate the entire LAN if momentum swings in their favor.
Anything Can Happen at FNCS LAN
Competitive Fortnite continues proving that predictions rarely guarantee results.
Recent FNCS tournaments and the Global Championship already demonstrated how quickly favorites can collapse while underdogs rise unexpectedly. With a new format, international pressure, and constantly evolving Fortnite meta changes, this LAN could easily deliver more surprises.
As the FNCS Major 1 Summit LAN begins, the battle for finals qualification and international bragging rights is wide open once again.
Fortnite is set to make history at the end of May 2026, as the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) arrives in Germany for its first-ever event in the country. Taking place in Düsseldorf on May 30–31, the tournament will feature top duos battling for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and a spot in the Fortnite Global Championship.
The road to the live event begins online, where elite players from around the world will compete in Major 1 qualifiers running from April 6 to April 26. From there, the best-performing duos from each region will earn invitations to the in-person FNCS Major 1 Summit.

The live competition will unfold over two days, with players competing in six matches per day — 12 games in total. Consistency will be key, as the duo with the highest overall score at the end of the final match will be crowned FNCS Major 1 Summit champions.

In addition to the title, the stakes are high: the top five duos will secure direct qualification for the Fortnite Global Championship later in the year.
For those unable to attend the event in Düsseldorf, Epic Games continues to offer an in-game viewing experience. Through Legends Landing, fans can watch major Fortnite competitive events live directly inside the game.
